Hi,My name is Barbara Brown and I welcome you to my jewelry shop. I chose the name ELEGANTnFUNKY because I think it describes so many women.   At times we desire to be elegant and dress up and at other times, (always remembering that the first three letters of funky spell FUN) we are in a more playful mood, and want to have a look that is special to us and that no one else can share. Although I live in a very real world, my imagination and creativity add the sparkle to everyday things.  I hope you will join me by enjoying my creations. No two of my pieces are alike, although I hope that something of me shows in each and every one.  I call myself a jewelry designer, but must confess that the jewelry really designs itself.  Each bead takes me on its own journey, meeting other beads, stones and crystals along the way until it feels just right. I do not work in precious stones or precious metals, and for that reason I am able to make beautiful and unusual pieces for a very modest price. As for me, I live in sunny south Florida, between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, in the lovely Butterfly Capital of the world,  Coconut Creek.  I  have lived in Philadelphia, Cherry Hill, NJ,  as well as Bradenton, Florida (think Sarasota) I invite you to look at my pieces in my etsy shop, and purchase as many as your heart desires.
